Always Be Welcome!

The coronavirus pandemic has had a significant impact on travel and tourism, with many countries imposing restrictions on both domestic and international travel. These restrictions have been implemented in an effort to slow the spread of the virus and protect public health.

After a while, I felt like I was going crazy being cooped up. Since I couldn’t travel myself, I thought about offering housing to travelers as a host.

This arrangement was a win-win situation. Many hotels were closed or could only accommodate a very limited number of guests. So I had the chance to contribute to the travelers and offer a welcoming home. By hosting a traveler in my own home, I was able to make new friends and connections with people from all over the world. These connections often lasted long after the initial exchange, and I have made many lifelong friends through my participation in the hospitality exchange community.
It is a rewarding and enriching experience that I truly enjoy.
